Back from China after seven and a half years. Nice to imagine the old faces again. Well the faces I haven't seen of course. Odd feeling to be back. I feel like an alien (don't tell Kerry) in my own country.

I forgot all my old facebook etc logins, recovery emails, the whole shebang. Imagine my surprise when they asked me to scan my passport. Which I did and my page was unlocked almost instantly. I had no idea.

I do not know why Hoagland still has his radio show on the internet. Most of us thought he would crash and burn. Perhaps we misundersetimated (sic) the Hoagmeister or at least his ability to peddle utter shite. Peddling shite would appear to be a at least an avenue of departure from food stamps.

I've never been one to cow-tow, be polite, be a gentleman. Except in the company of ladies. However my gloat-o-meter hit 12 on a scale of 10 when ENGERLUUND  got pumped by Iceland.

They had it coming. The rest of the world are sick of hearing such sanctimonious glabber spewed forth by the English media. "Shades of '66......the boys of '66..... Get a hold of yourself English. You have done nothing in football for 50 fucking years. Get over yourselves. Your empire is gone.

The sun never sets on the British Empire, because nobody trusts an Englishman in the dark. I believe that was a Chris Hitchins comment.

 Have some humility. Like we Scots, Irish, and Welsh. Expect nothing, have a party. Integrate, be ambassadors for your country. Allow the locals to see what you are. You are not the minority who riot in the streets, you are not the monkey brained idiots who sing, " If it weren't for the English you would be Krauts."

Be Scottish, or Irish, or Welsh in your mentality. A small minority can have a damaging effect. This nationalistic bullshit is perpetrated by the sports media. Those dinosaurs who have not emerged from the 1966 fluke. John Motson is guilty.

Hoagland and a response to Bellgab. Including a non related personal message.

How much he attempts to mix pseudoscience, paranormal claims, pareidolia, coincidences and the like with science is disturbing, but it crosses that line for me as I wonder, does he really believe all of this? And if so, I won't chide him for his beliefs but man. He really has some people confused and misled if these ideas aren't valid or supported by significant peer reviewed research in the slightest.
It's nothing personal. I just disagree, and I told him so. He asked me to look something up I was unfamiliar with. I did. I'm still asking him to show me the evidence.

I have been told on good authority that Hoaxy believes his torsion field stuff. The other stuff I am not so sure about.
He is in his element when talking to the scientifically illiterate. But, if he gets a call from an engineer, or indeed anybody who actually knows what they are talking about he immediately resorts to his default defence system. That is; gish gallop and name dropping.

I have wondered for many years now how he can actually make a living out of this lamentable horseshit. After his Elenin nonsense was outed I noticed that his conference appearances were diluted, eventually reaching zero. I cannot say for certain what his financial position is, but, I do know that he had to move house to a small place called Deming. It's a tiny place with trailer park type housing. In fact I believe the house he moved into belonged (belongs) to his sister.

The spiral into the preposterous in my opinion can be traced back to NASA refusing his press accreditation. You can see the whole sorry story on his website. NASA really threw him a stinger, and suggested that he hawk his wares in a public area. Oh my, how the ego was bruised. Henceforth the NASA hatred began, and has never waned. For a time he made decent cash out of conferences. I was told by Richard Dolan that at a conference he appeared at, that, "the majority of people were there to hear Hoagland." How the mighty have fallen since.

His horseshit has reached unparalleled heights in an attempt to remain relevant. Take for example the New Horizons Pluto encounter. Within minutes of the first images arriving on Earth Hoagland and Laney were seeing arcologies. Just as many, including myself predicted he would. He then went on to declare, "I was the only one who got it right." The hubris of the man is quite astonishing.

His experiments with a laptop and a microset timer coupled to a 40 year old watch are simply laughable. As an electronics engineer I could list a veritable plethora of mistakes he is guilty of. But no need. Expat has detailed them eloquently several times on The Emoluments of Mars blog.

I genuinely take no pleasure in seeing a man who is down being kicked. My gloat-o-meter is barely registering. But I do have to concede that he had it coming. Smugness, hubris, and ego will always end up biting you on the arse. When you refer to a genuine scientist like our own Dr Robbins as a "crater counter", and laugh, because Dr Robbins totally wiped the YouTube floor with him. You are simply begging for karma.

On a different note. I am absolutely loving my time here teaching in China. These 17 and 18 year old kids are amazingly smart. Their work ethic is absolutely astonishing. They keep you on your toes too. Last week I was rugby tackled in the corridor by one of them asking for help with her physics homework. Not only did she want to know the equation to work out the gravitational force between two bodies, but demanded that I derive and explain the equation from first principles. To be perfectly honest it took me a couple of minutes to get my act together.

I have engineered all over the planet. From Auckland New Zealand to San Jose USA. I can honestly say that the Chinese are the most humble, honest, and endearing people I have ever met. It is a completely different experience to the years I spent in America. If I was offered the choice of USA at 250k or China at 50k it's a no brainer. Seriously.

Here's a wee story to illustrate. Please note that I am not generalising Americans. I lived there for a long time with an American lassie. I know Americans. I was in love with one. That said.....

My first time in the USA. I am in San Joe in the bay area. I am alone, sitting at the bar in my hotel drinking a beer and having a chin-wag with the bartender. A couple wander in and hear my Scottish accent. (Yanks love a Scottish accent). They come over to me and we begin to chat. Within two minutes the guy is telling me that he has two cars, a boat and a condo in Miami, and that he earns $300,000 dollars per yer. Within two bloody minutes..... What the hell. Did he expect me to prostrate myself at his feet an seek to build a new religion around him? - This was not an isolated incident. For my part, as a Scot, it made me feel really uncomfortable.

My first time in China. I am sitting at a bar and people are looking at me as if I have just beamed up from Mars. Two minutes later I am approached and asked if I can speak Chinese. I reply, "a little." Before I know it I am sitting at a table playing dice, being fed with all sorts of food, and having fun using our cellphones to communicate. Not once were possessions, money or personal accomplishments mentioned. I attempted to pay my bill and was met with giggling rebuke. This from people that I know for a fact earn a fifth of what I do, and I don't earn much at all. These people are Scottish, except with different eyes and skin colour. The most delightful country I have ever had the pleasure to visit.

Went to see Gods of Egypt here in China last night. I wonder how long before the Hoagmeister tells us it is a documentary about HD physics by those in the know.

All Quiet on the Woostern Front.

It's been unusually quiet on the Woo front these past few weeks. Nobody (not even David Wilcock) has claimed that human ascension into light beings is imminent (again). I'm pretty disappointed in that. Usually, at this time of year, I am still patiently waiting to ascend. I want to be a light-being dammit!

Richard C. Hoagland has his internet radio show that is still on the air, despite many financial issues and the fact that Hoagland fucked off Art Bell by his unprofessional and narcissistic behaviour. Art Bell even went as far as to launch a broadside against Hoagland on the Bellgab forum. If you really want to see just how far Hoagland has fallen. Simply check out his thread on Bellgab. It's a long thread but shows Hoagland's initial success followed by his rapid demise because of his lunacy.

My recent favourite crock of shite spouted by Hoagland is that the recent storm that hit the USA was engineered by "those in the know" to "send a message" to "someone about something." His proof? - none whatsoever apart from mentioning HAARP.

Meanwhile, Mike Bara, Hoagland's former most trusted acolyte has been producing nothing apart from a couple of nut-hugging sessions with Jimmy Church on Fade to Black radio. True to form Mike is still insulting people on Twitter and banning those who do not agree with his evolution denials, his new found "Sitchin style" crap about the Annunaki, or even about football. Bara is also still trying to pretend he's a player, a casual hero, all round intellectual and converter of virgins. When in fact he is still advertising online for a girlfriend. Mikey boy has even gone as far as to post pictures of himself with a couple of attractive women at some conference. The intent here is clearly to suggest he's the real deal when it comes to bedding the ladies This is as wrong as the crap he writes in his books. Mikey boy doesn't realise that Women do not like being called cunts too ugly to reproduce and that Men turn to stone when they gaze upon their ugliness. Yes, folks, Mike did say that to a female critic who called him out on his disgraceful attempts at science. I don't like Mike.

Yes folks. The results are in, and who would have predicted that this year's award would have been such a closely fought contest.

Richard C. Hoagland and Kerry Cassidy will share this years POF award after an epic struggle of bullshittery, abject mendacity and propagating filthy big lies. Ms Cassidy ran Hoagland very close last year, but Hoagland rallied later with an absolute mountain load of utter gobshite about 200 mile high buildings on Pluto to trump Cassidy's claimed attempted assassination via scalar weaponry.

Fans of Mike Bara will note that poor Mikey boy came a rather disappointing third whilst Dr Steven Greer and David Wilcock (not surprisingly) brought up the rear.

In case anyone was wondering why Ancient Spaceship 67/P is outgassing material into space. Since this is not a comet but an ancient spaceship, Hoagland states that "the life support system, which contains all the necessary gases to do its job are sublimating into space." Well spank my arse and call me Susan. I would never have guessed. Hoagland must be some kind of genius.

Case closed you might imagine. But I doubt it.

The cult of Richard C. Hoagland and his deluded followers.

Today I read a most excellent blog post by our very own most excellent Dr Stuart Robbins regarding Richard C. Hoagland's decades-long demonstrable mendacity. I highly recommend giving it a read.

It got me thinking. Just how long has Hoagland been spouting terrible lies and living in his Walter Mitty world pretending to be a scientist? - Of course, the face on Mars was where Hoagland started his monster extrapolations.

As one can see from the above high-resolution image there is no face. Then I spotted an image posted on a pro-Hoagland facebook group.

There followed a discussion where people absolutely, positively, believe everything Hoagland has stated about the face. Impossible as it may seem, there are still people who are so wrapped up in Hoagland's lies, that no evidence, and I really mean NO evidence will convince them that;

• Hoagland is in no way a scientist.
• Hoagland has no degree of any kind. In fact, a high school diploma is as good as it gets.
• NASA does not murder its own people.
• NASA did not "nuke" the face to make it less face-like.
• Hoagland's hyperdimensional torsion field detector experiments are worthless junk science.
• Hoagland is plain wrong about the Chinese Moon landing findings.
• Hoagland deliberately manipulates images to "prove" his hypotheses.
• Hoagland accuses NASA/ESA/Russia/Japan/India of manipulating images to hide buildings.
• Hoagland wrote much of "The Monuments of Mars" in prison.
• Mike Bara wrote most of Dark Mission while Hoagland contented himself with preening.
• Hoagland will use any tragedy. Even if  human lives were lost. To try and shoehorn his insane ideas and pseudoscience into that tragedy. Hoagland will then claim that his torsion field physics could have prevented the disaster. 
• Hoagland claims that the same torsion field physics could have been used to CAUSE the disaster. He claims elites on one side are messaging other elites about Hoagland's physics by killing thousands of people.

The list could go on, and on, and on, and on......much like that bloviating fucking windbag Hoagland himself. It will never cease to disappoint me that there are people who are still looking to images that are hundreds of times worse resolution and 40 years old to make a case for Hoagland. These same people refuse to even contemplate Hoagland could be wrong. Even when presented with irrefutable mathematical proof. 

I wonder if these people are the same poor saps who sent Hoagland money when he was at his E-begging best trying to raise money for a trip to Giza. He didn't get enough filthy lucre, abandoned the trip, and instead went for a meal at a mountaintop restaurant with his fake doctor girlfriend. Where he claimed to have used the natural limestone of the mountain as a stand in for The Great Pyramid. Hoagland, of course, claimed to have obtained stunning results. Which isn't surprising, since Hoagland always gets stunning results. He is GUARANTEED to get stunning results every time he opens up his laptop and switches on his toy apparatus. He will tell you this himself. In a round about way. If you have an hour or two to spend hanging around while he finally gets to the fucking point.

One can only wonder what utter balderdash the Hoaxmeister will come up with in 2016. More of the same I hear you say. Indeed, it will. There will be more arcologies, more glass domes, more ancient spaceships that are NOT comets, and more NASA/ESA et al cover ups. Hoagland is nothing if he's not predictable.

Readers of this blog and others. Aimed at correcting the heinous crimes committed against science by Richard C. Hoagland and his gang of fake scientists will no doubt be aware just how indoctrinated the members of "Branch Hoaglandia" are.

Recently I have engaged in another attempt at educating these poor lost souls via a closed facebook group which is called "Richard C Hoagland." Astonishingly I have not been banned yet. As is wont to happen with these type of groups when any dissent from their blinkered views is put forth. I found it quite appalling just how ignorant of real science these people are. They absolutely suck up everything the Hoaxmeister says as gospel, and will simply refuse to read any explanation proving their Lord and Master wrong.

What a waste of fucking time. Or is it? Perhaps there are people who read but don't post. Perhaps these same people did actually take the time to read the links I provided exposing Hoagland's utter mendacity and disgraceful attempts at mathematics.

I found I had three main adversaries. First off, in chirped Hoagland's main bum chum Keith "good ole boy" Laney. Then came the other two. Let us just refer to them as Alan Fanboi, and Tony the Bigot.
Good ole boy of course still thinks the face on Mars is real. As do Fanboi and Bigot. In fact, Fanboi actually posted the 1976 image as proof. Refusing to believe (or more likely do the hard yards and fucking learn it for himself) all attempts at trying to explain what pixel size and resolution meant. Fanboi was backed up by Tony the Bigot early on. I had someone's attention for sure. Then the insults started.

Insulting any and all dissenters is standard practice for the Branch Hoaglandians. I am used to it. This was just more of the same. Originality has never occurred to people whose 1-inch thoughts dominate their paradigm. Fanboi tried to trick me into thinking he was actually reading my destruction of Hoagland's science. Trying to sound windswept, cryptic and interesting by posting two or three-word replies. I wasn't impressed. Fanboi is a believer. He cannot be saved. I did try. He simply refused to look at the evidence and shoved his fingers in his ears shouting LALALALA...NO YOU!!!!

Next up was Tony the Bigot. He was a little more verbose than Fanboi but no less ignorant. Even in the face (pun intended) of overwhelming evidence, Tony simply refused to contemplate Hoagland could possibly be wrong. Branch Hoaglandia indeed appears to have a "Scientology type" grip over it's disciples. Rather alarming don't you think. I was then labeled a paid shill. Fuck me, I've never heard that one before. NOT!

Lady Woo then posts about the Chinese lander. She is curious about the "numbers" associated with the landing site. I corrected her, stating that Hoaxmeister himself had stated 19.5 degrees North or South are important to his theory. I told her 19.5 degrees West does not count. Then it occurred to me just why she would make that association. Hoagland himself actually mentioned the 19.44 degrees West and said that the Chinese were sending messages to the elites about HD physics. More moving the goalposts by Hoagland. In chimes Alan Fanboi, posting old and discredited rubbish regarding Cydonia and Hoagland's made up numbers. It cited first off, Hoagland's disgraceful Explorer 1 mathematics. Explorer 1 was the main thrust of my attack on Hoagland's inability to do mathematics. Yet here we have a person using it as defence. Bad show Alan Fanboi. I knew you didn't do the work, and, probably didn't even read the links. Now that's a cult for you. No, I didn't misspell anything.

What's that coming over the hill? - Hooray, here comes Tony the Bigot to shove his tuppence in.
Tony takes umbrage that Lady Woo posted something praising the Chinese. In fact, when Tony the Bigot is taken to task for referring to the Chinese people as "animals" he ripostes by actually affirming that he did indeed intend to call them animals. But this time, attempts to temper his bigotry by replacing "Chinese" with "Red Chinese."

Good ole boy then compounds his lunacy by declaring that the Explorer 1 mistake was inconsequential and didn't matter. Fucking jeebuz. What a journey this was. I think I need a shower.

Sci-Fi movies as evidence my arse Hoagland.

I came across a blog post by Dr Joseph Farrell. An ex-friend of Hoagland. Farrell booted Hoagland's arse out of his circle of friends after the Hoaxmeister conned Farrell into appearing on a Camelot video round-table discussion about comet Elenin. Farrell, of course, excused himself early on as Hoagland immediately began his preen-fest of bullshit. I shall post a portion of it below. I wonder who the "diva" personality, or what absolute fucktard looks upon sci-fi novels as insider info. Pretty obvious really. This is Farrell having a real go at Hoagland and I am guessing Wilcock amongst others here.

The last year saw the alternative research community - what Mr. Henry calls the "truth community" - taking high dives off the cliffs into belly-flopping hysteria. We were treated to endless hype and the so-called testimony of "whistleblowers" - who must always remain anonymous of course, with little by way of corroboration from other sources to back any of it up.

But we have to ask ourselves why this is happening? Why the tailspin into endless speculations and apocalyptic scenarios, including replays of Hale-Bopp with Elenin, the reliance upon science fiction novels as "analysis", the heavy dose of alleged "whistleblower" testimony, the construction of macro-scenarios of apocalyptic "grandeur"(or perhaps better put of apocalyptic grandiosity)?

In his questioning of Mr. Maugans, William Henry elicited the response that Mr Maugans was connecting dots that would indicate that some of this, at least, is deliberate, suggesting that the aim is really to cast a pall of suspicion over anyone researching in the field. This, is, indeed, what has happened. 2011 saw a move within this "community';(and I hesitate even using that word in connection with alternative research) away from research and analysis, and toward rampant speculation and scenario construction, "whistleblower" testimony, and...well... what I like to call the "diva" personality, i.e., the reliance upon a kind of "capital" built up over the years to promote speculation whose acceptance is based upon the stature or standing individuals have or had within the "community."

Speculation is, of course, the name of the game within this whole field, nothing would get done without it. But there is a great deal of difference between speculation based on research, documents, reasoned argument, and so on, and that based upon a diva's reputation and hysterics and histrionics, whistleblowers, alleged threats, marketing schemes in conjunction with said threats, anecdotes, and so on.

The bottom line, for me, is this, and I have said it often before: "research" based upon whistleblowers, channeling, science fiction novels or Hollywood movies, dubious "word analysis", and all the other claptrap that one so often hears, is not research. One cannot footnote a whistleblower, a channeled source, and so on. These things may, from time to time, shed interesting light on an argument, or even connect an interesting dot or two, but in the final analysis, there is no substitute for real documentable sources, for reasoned speculation and argument. Let's hope that 2012 brings some sanity back to the field.

I find it frustrating and sad that some people can be so sucked in by Richard C. Hoagland's utter batshit crazy ideas, plain bad science, and atrocious mathematical errors yet will still fawn at his altar. Honestly, it's like Hoagland is running some kind of cult. Sadly I am not joking. See below for proof.

Anthony D'Andrea Remember that name? For some reason Derek continues to pursue his vendetta against Hoagland, to discredit him, to distract from his messages, to do anything to prevent the truth from coming out.

He and other wackos like him need to learn that the cat is already out of the bag. While those not in bed with the cartels sometimes have to speculate about the final configuration of things or resort to guesswork at times, there is certainly enough proof out there to confirm that the government stories are bogus and there is an alternate view in the process of being formulated.

Hoagland may not always be right -- but he's a lot closer to the truth than the government's story -- and certainly a lot closer than paranoid skeptics like Derek ever want us to be.

Derek James Eunson Not a single member of Hoagland's congregation knows how to set up an experiment. Hoagland relies on this when he tries to use a 40-year-old wristwatch to measure torsion fields and convince us he is using the scientific method. Baselines and controls are PARAMOUNT. Hoagland has shown neither. Therefore, his torsion field experiments are worthless pretend-science.

Anthony D'Andrea Got to admire Derek for being consistent. Consistently ignorant, but consistent. First word in the title of the URL used to try to discredit Hoagland (Does Derek do anything else?) is "Pseudo". Do I even want to click on it?

I know this: NASA, or more specifically JPL, has been giving us bogus science for years. If it wasn't for Dr. Hoagland, we wouldn't be aware of any of it. I'm not qualified any more than Derek to say he's perfect or completely right or wrong -- but I know he's gotten the attention of the public onto some issues that are sorely in need of looking at. I thank him for that. And while I don't blindly accept everything said by ANYONE, when Hoagland speaks, he will have ,my ear, my respect and my appreciation.

Derek James Eunson Anthony.Two things. As an electronics engineer of 30+ years experience, I do know how to design an experiment. Richard Hoagland is not a Dr. He has no degree of any kind never mind a Ph.D. - In fact he has nothing more than a high school diploma.
